1.characters and applications
>>Each character you play on this forum should have their own account.
>>The username can be whatever you wish, but make the display name of the account the name of your character--last name first, in the Japanese fashion. For example, I play Tomoyo, so my display name is Daidouji Tomoyo.
>>As most of the characters in Cardcaptor Sakura are twelve at the point in which this RPG takes place, use your real birthdate instead of your character's birthdate when making an account. The minimum age you can be to use proboards is thirteen, so if you say you're twelve it won't let you register. Though, if you are a girl who plays a boy or vice versa, please set the account's gender as your character's gender instead of your own.
>>For each character you make, you must post an application for them in the applications section and wait for it to get approved. Once the application has been moved to the "character bios" section, you can start roleplaying as that character.
>>When making original characters, don't make them have unlimited magical abilities and own a pack of cards that look just like Clow Cards but have ten times the power. No one likes Mary Sues, so try to make your characters realistic and charmingly flawed. When playing cannon characters, try to stay in character at all times.
>>You can have as many characters as you want, but if you play cannon characters, please try to stay as active as possible. Yes, I understand you have a life, but if it's one so busy that you can't get on to RP with those who want to, then don't play a major cannon character!
2.roleplaying conduct
>>In the OOC section and the plotting board, textspeak such as "LOL," "XD," and "thx" are absolutely fine, but do NOT use them whatsoever while roleplaying in character. Try to use good spelling and grammer whenever possible. We understand if you make a typo here and there or put a comma in the wrong place, but generally try to make your posts look like something out of a book.
>>All posts should be third person, past tense, except of course in dialogue.
>>Try to make your posts as long as possible. It's okay if you can't always crank out paragraph after paragraph, but at least give your fellow roleplayer something more to work with then a dinky one-line post.
>>Do not barge in on a private RP if you know you're not welcome.
>>If you would like to have a roleplay between just you and a specific other person, put their name or "private" in the title of thread so others know.
>>No playing other people's characters is allowed. You can bring in a random stranger in your post if need be, but under no circumstance can you use another person's character in a roleplay without their permission. You are not God, no matter how much magical power you posses.
3.maturity of content
>>Please make "damn" and "hell" the farthest your character goes with swearing. Cardcaptor Sakura is first and foremost a kid's show, so the characters don't do much along the lines of naughty content.
>>If you would like to write a lemon with some of the series' older characters, put "mature" in the thread's title so those who do not wish to read such things can stay away.
>>However, don't make Sakura and Syaoran have an all-night sex fest on their first date. Please remember that the majority of characters are twelve, and are far too young for this kind of activity. There's more to love than sex!
>>As for sexual/mature graphics and artwork, if you would like to post them in a thread with your fanworks, feel free, but please post only a link to them with a warning about its content right next to the link. Do NOT post the actual mature image on the site's page or it will be removed.
4.be respectful and courteous
>>Remember, forums are supposed to be a fun and friendly place for everyone.
>>Do not under any circumstances bash or make fun of another member, or do anything offensive to anyone on this site. Agree to disagree with someone, but don't cause a scene by starting a big argument about it. If you can't cooperate with others, then this is not the site for you.
>>Do not repeatedly ask someone to roleplay with you or badger them to post. If they have said no to RPing with you, or have a reason why they can't get on, please try to honor their answer.
>>Generally, just try to honor the golden rule: do onto others as you would like done onto you.
